I had posted a testimonial the other week from Tara, who I had met through OxyHealth’s Give Back To Military Families program. She’s continued to share updates of Issac’s journey using the hyperbaric chamber, so I wanted to share them with you as well!
Isaac has said his first word in a long time. He has said words in the past but it has been few… We went to physical therapy for an evaluation and we all said “hi” to the clerk, and Issac said “hi,” too!
He is starting to come to me and direct me to what he wants, instead of his usual attempts to try to get it himself. He is asking for help more often.
He is wanting to sleep in his own bed at night. He has started becoming interested in participating in arts and crafts activities such as painting.  He is sitting longer and listening to someone read a book to him.
He has also become very good at getting paperwork from mom to put in his own personal binder to make his own notebook. This is a direct mimic to what his ABA therapist do daily. They record data in their notebooks, and he is wanting to do the same.

Everything Happens For A Reason

Because sometimes we all need to be reminded. I know lately I feel as though nothing I do is right or has meaning and I have let myself believe that. I am looking forward to 2018, but make a promise to make the rest of 2017 matter…

Reflections of Grace

Have you ever been amazed thousands of time by the same person or the same thing in life? I never thought that was possible… Grace proved me wrong. Everyday she amazes me with the gift of life and reminds me how blessed I am to have the privileged of being her momma. In less than … Continue reading “Reflections of Grace”
